Stop Doubting and Start Doing!

Hey Guys!!

This morning I woke up with a toddler's energy. I felt as if I have just had my fifth cup of coffee and now I'm wired and ready to go. This has become the norm as of recently and I don't know exactly who to accredit. My wonderful readers? Yes, you guys give me a reason to wake up as early as I do. Thank you for all of your support. My small business? It definitely keeps me up at night and takes up most of my time by far. But I love that. I love the idea of not sleeping until 4 o'clock because I'm planning promotion techniques or advertising strategies. I have grown accustom to designing for hours at a time and visualizing perfect shots for a commercial that truly symbolizes what my brand stands for.

The point is: I love what I do and the challenges it brings me.

More importantly, I love the direction it's carrying me in. Before this, I wasn't a dedicated "morning person." I would set my alarm before getting a must needed rest, hear the grueling sound pull me from my paradise, turn it off, and roll over. That's before I thought this was possible. Before I took a leap of faith. Before I trusted in my dream. I had to realize that everyday I went through the motions of the day, flowing in the winds of miniscule moments of satisfaction, I was telling myself I couldn't do it. And in some way you are also telling yourself that your dream is too big.

Stop that.

Yesterday, you asked yourself if you were doing what made you happy. If you said yes, keep up the great work. Stay motivated and continue to believe in yourself. If you said no, or some version of no, then it's time you start believing. Don't think it's too late or you don't have the resources to make it happen. Before I began, I thought I needed a job that would lead to funding my brand. Then I'd be able to actually start my business and be happy. I was wrong. No actually, I was afraid. Afraid that I wouldn't actually connect with people. I had to stop doubting and start doing. And I haven't turned back. I wake up thankful that I made that decision and I am happier than I have ever been.

If you only take one thing from this blog today, let it be this: Every dream is like a child. They are smaller versions of ourselves. And as long as we nurture and believe in them, they will grow to be greater than we imagined. Stop saying you can't and start showing that you can.

We don't make wishes to blow them away. Hold onto your dreams and expand your horizon.
