The Importance Of Patience
Hey Guys!!
I apologize for not posting a new blog yesterday, but I'm sure you didn't notice because you were too busy being great. Excellent! It's only Tuesday and already I am piled to my ceiling with assignments and projects. My business is still developing, so I'm constantly working to perfect products. If you guys are interested in improving your brand, please check out my website here. Okay, enough of that. Even though I'm swamped, I've kept a clear mind. My objective everyday is to improve my craft. We have to do so in order to remain proactive. Remember, we are aiming to be our best selves everyday and every moment!
Now, if I'm being completely honest, I am a bit stressed because there is so much that I want to share with you guys. My vision. My designs. My story. The thought wires me, but I have to calm down. There is a quality that all dream chasers must have in order to steer clear of heavy disappointments, unnecessary risks, and spiraling confidence. That quality is patience.
Patience is a skill not many are born with. As I told you earlier, I was a very introverted child. I constantly held my tongue on certain topics and it made everyone think that I was a patient person. That wasn't true. Patience is not the lack of taking action; rather, it's knowing when to take action. So, at this point you should know what today's question is. Even so, I want you to think about it fully.
Ready?...
Are you patience enough for your dreams?
Now remember patience is not waiting for the moment to be perfect. A patience person is strategic. When we were kids, my friends and I would line up dominos and knock them down. Our creative side, would force us to line them up in the form of the moai statues or the initials of our names. Sometimes they would fall prematurely; other times, halfway through building. If we lack patience, we often jump the gun and make vain the time we invested in our goal. But that's okay. Oftentimes, out of fear of making a move too soon, we waited too long and missed an opportunity.
Again, that's okay. We learn most when we make mistakes. Mistakes are vital to learning. But once we understand, we have to implement what we know. We have to adjust our dominos one by one which takes time and effort; but, when done right, the end results justify all the troubles we undergo.
Be diligent, confident, and patience everyday. Mold yourself to have the characteristics of a go-getter. When the time arrives for you to take your dreams to the next level, you'll be ready. You earn everything you receive. So, continue to work, fail, learn, and grow. Be prepared, and above all, patient. Your journey is long, but your body is able.
Slow and steady.
